"Looking at composer and bassist Julie Slick’s musical resume is like flicking through a classic
rock lover’s cherished LP collection—or their iTunes Cover Flow. Just a few of the luminaries
she’s recorded and performed with include Eddie Vedder (Pearl Jam), Stewart Copeland (The
Police), Jon Anderson (Yes), Ann Wilson (Heart), Alice Cooper, and Adrian Belew (King
    Crimson).

Now, it’s Slick’s turn to step into the spotlight with her self-titled debut album. The all-
instrumental release is a seamless blend of progressive rock, jazz-fusion, funk, electronica,
avant-garde, and world music influences. The album features an incredible ensemble comprised of Slick’s friends, including King Crimson guitarist Robert Fripp and drummer Pat Mastelotto, drummer Marco Minnemann (Paul Gilbert, Kreator, Eddie Jobson), drummer and brother Eric Slick (Dr. Dog), Chapman Stick player Michael Bernier (Stick Men), and guitarist André Cholmondeley (Project Object)."
